Patch 1.2 Notes



Wipe the dust from your Legendary cards. For far too long, the most dazzling and exquisitely animated cards have remained forgotten and underused. Patch 1.2 seeks to remedy this.

Here is how:

  • Stamina cost: lower, to increase playability
  • Initial power: often reduced, to compensate for lower cost
  • Scale: increased, to 25% per level


GW Homerun Swing

Whenever I get hit with this... I smile.

Consider this a legit buff, due to the scaling, and the presumed boost in frequency of "in the air" opponents.

  • Stamina cost from 4 to 3
  • Damage from 165%/170%/175%… to 140%/175%/210%…
  • In the air damage from 245%/255%/265%… to 200%/250%/300%…

GW Whirlwind

  • Stamina cost from 8 to 7
  • Damage from 100%/105%/110%… to 90%/108%/126%…
  • Break block from 30%/31.3%/32.6%… to 48%/50%/52%…

LS Bloody Flourish

  • Stamina cost from 7 to 6
  • Damage from 55%/60%/65%… to 72%/90%/108%…

SS Hemorragia

  • Stamina cost from 7 to 6
  • Damage from 75%/80%/85%… to 80%/100%/120%…
  • Already cursed damage from 100%/150%/200%… to 120%/150%/180%…


GW/LS/SS Shout

Shouts had no meaningful scaling, and the cost prevented most people from ever trying to use them.

  • Stamina cost from 6 to 4
  • Stamina regeneration from 150% to 75%/80%/90%…

LS Dragon Assault

  • Stamina cost from 8 to 5
  • Damage from 90%/95%/100%… to 72%/90%/108%…

LS Dragon Stab

Perhaps the only Legendary card that was overpowered. The former tooltip did not indicate that this card also results in a knockdown.

  • Stamina cost from 5 to 4
  • Damage from 120%/125%/130%… to 80%/100%/120%…

SS Brandish

  • Stamina cost from 6 to 4
  • Damage from 130%/135%/140%… to 100%/125%/150%…


As an ongoing trend, we would like to promote a more aggressive playstyle. Some support cards that seek to stall the game are being hit with a nerf.

GW/LS/SS Sweep

The damage is irrelevant

With the increased accessibility of Legendary cards, Sweep cards remain the most obvious way to set them, and other attacks up.

With this nerf, some players may actually choose to use a card that does significant damage, rather than use a Sweep.

  • Damage from 75%/80%/85%… to 50%/55%/60%…

GW Enrage

We like this as a really cool Epic healing card. It does not need to act as a semi-permanent shield buff, that an opponent must punch through.

  • Healing from 15%/20%/25%… to 25%/28%/31%…
  • Duration from 15/16/17… to 10/10.4/10.8…

SS Shield Megabash

  • Damage reduction from 50%/50%/60%… to 40%/45%/50%…
  • Duration from 15/16/17… to 12/12.5/13…

Under Discussion

Card scaling

This patch brings a deliberately consistent scaling method to Legendary cards. A similar method being applied to Epic, Rare, and Common cards can be considered.


Curse damage currently does not scale. Maybe it should.
